MIXED BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR A QUARTER-PLANE WITH A ROBIN CONDITION

We consider a mixed boundary value problem for a quarter-plane with a Robin condition on one edge. We have developed two procedures, one based on the advanced theory of dual integral equations and the other, in our opinion simpler technique, relying on conformal mapping. Both of the procedures are of interest, because the former may be easier to adapt to other boundary value problems.

On the Mixed Problem for Harmonic Functions in a 2-d Exterior Cracked Domain with Neumann Condition on Cracks

The mixed Dirichlet-Neumann problem for the Laplace equation in an unbounded plane domain with cuts (cracks) is studied. The Dirichlet condition is given on closed curves making up the boundary of the domain, while the Neumann condition is specified on the cuts. The existence of a classical solution is proved by potential theory and a boundary integral equation method. The integral representati...

Blow-up behavior of Planar Harmonic Functions Satisfying a Certain Exponential Neumann Boundary Condition

In this paper we provide a detailed analysis of the limiting behaviour of some very general families of solutions to the boundary value problem ∆v = 0 in Ω, ∂v/∂n = λ sinh(v) on ∂Ω, as λ → 0. The existence of countably many of these families has already been established in the papers [4] and [6].

A certain convolution approach for subclasses of univalent harmonic functions

In the present paper we study convolution properties for subclasses of univalent harmonic functions in the open unit disc and obtain some basic properties such as coefficient characterization and extreme points.
